For its 11th season, Fortnite and Epic Games decided to start the story over again, naming it Fortnite: Chapter 2. Fortnite: Chapter 2 is going to be a different season because if features a new map. The new map is going to be completely blank at first, with all the names of each place being displayed with only question marks. You have to go to each location and discover each name yourself, slowly filling up the map with all the names and slowly filling it up with some color and design as you progress.
The new season features a ton of new changes. It features a new way to level up your battle pass, before you had to complete various challenges that are released each week in order to gain Battle Stars, for every 10 Battle Stars you get your Battle Pass level increases by one. For season 11, you still need to complete challenges if you want to level up your Battle Pass quickly, but there are also new ways for you to level up your Battle Pass. You can earn XP and medals for completing different activities, such as looting chests, harvesting a certain amount of materials, eliminating opponents, and a ton of other things. These medals will then be upgraded as you complete more of the same type of things. You’ll also be able to go beyond the previous level 100 cap, if you collect enough XP.
You can play Fortnite with your friends because of the ton of platforms that Fortnite is available on. Fortnite is available to play on mobile, PC, and consoles. For mobile, Fortnite is available on both iOS and Android devices. If you want to install it on iOS, simply go into the App Store and search for and install Fortnite from there. If you want to install Fortnite on Android, the process is a little more complicated. You need to go directly to the Epic Games website here: http://fortnite.com/android. Download the installer from there, and use the installer to download and install Fortnite on your Android phone. You can also update your app from there. Fortnite is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One. To install on one of these consoles, simply go into their respective app stores and then install Fortnite from there. For PC users, you simply need to go to the Epic Games website and download the Epic Games Launcher here: https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/download. After installing, you can go to the store and you should be able to find Fortnite there.
Once you are done installing and downloading, you should be good to go. There are a few settings that you might want to change though, especially if you are on PC. Your Key binds are very important when it comes to Fortnite, there are a ton of different buttons and keys that you need to have access to at all times, so you have to change and re-bind your keys finding a comfortable set for you. You might also want to change up your sensitivity options, no matter what platform you are playing on. There are two main things that you need to consider when choosing your sensitivity, how fast you want to build, and how fast you want to aim. Consider both situations and play around with your sensitivity to find the best sensitivity for your playstyle.
Fortnite has been at the top of the gaming industry for more than 10 seasons now. Throughout its 10 seasons, there has been an occurring storyline where there were even main events that players could watch at the end of each season.
